Paul Tan, is a blogger based in Malaysia. He is an automotive journalist who writes about cars and the automotive industry in his blog, paultan.org.

Established in 2005, his blog enjoyed a quick rise to fame, visited by over 490,000 unique people a month with 3.3 million pageviews.[2]

The term paultan is the second most frequently searched person on Google by Malaysian Google users after Siti Nurhaliza, according to Google's 2007 Malaysia Year-End Zeitgeist, beating celebrities like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.[3][4]
